Home Depot VS Pottery Barn

James and I found these great pendant fixtures for our kitchen from Pottery Barn that were $99 each. They actually looked so simple that we were confident we could make our own with the help of Home Depot for half the price. And we did! We got a pendant light kit at 2 for $80, found two similar looking glass covers at 2 for $14, picked up some neat light bulbs and called it a day.
